How to use the Count Your Blessings app

CYB appCount Your Blessings is Christian Aid’s journey through Lent. The Count Your Blessings app will help you reflect, act and pray over the 40 days leading up to Easter.

The app, which is available for smartphones, Android phones, tablets, iPhones and iPads, offers you a stunning photograph every day throughout Lent featuring the people involved with, and who benefit from, Christian Aid’s work around the world.

Facts, stories and actions from those featured in the photos will further help you to reflect, act  and pray.

At the end of Lent, you can what your giving and actions amount to and you will have the opportunity to donate to Christian Aid.

Downloading the app

Once you download and open the app from Google Play Store (formerly known as Android Market) for Android phones, or the App Store or iTunes for iPhone and iPad, you can ensure you have a daily reminder to open and view the app.

Once opened, you be shown some of the ways you can interact with the app.

After Lent begins, and you want to look at the collections of photographs, you can swipe the screen left and right to show the different images.

You can also use the icons on this panel to share the app on Facebook and Twitter. We want as many people as possible to join us on this journey through Lent.

On every page of the app there is a Help button, a circle containing a question mark, in the bottom right corner of every photo.
